Our history

Our artisanal ice cream company based onkremas was created by a woman of Haitian origin, Martine Julien, who had the desire to transform the fabulous drink intokremas, in artisanal ice cream. Therekremas is a traditional Haitian drink made from coconut milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and Barbancourt rum. It is a sweet and creamy drink that is very popular in Haiti, the Caribbean and also in Quebec, mainly by the Haitian community. Therekremas is mainly consumed during the holiday season, just like eggnog (Eggnog) without neglecting the rest of the year!

It all started in 2016 with a common dream: to create exceptional artisanal ice creams, where creativity meets tradition. With the pandemic in full swing, 2020 was a crucial moment for the development and design of ice cream. Inspired by the richness of Haitian flavors and the nostalgia of family recipes, we gave birth to a unique frozen experience that combines the creaminess of ice cream with the spicy and sweet flavors ofkremas. Each bite is an invitation to a taste journey, one that celebrates the harmony between artisanal heritage and bold innovation.
